Repair or Replace?

A pump, pressure switch, heater or door component can be replaced without replacing the whole Miele dishwasher. On a sound machine under 15 years old, these faults usually favour repair over buying another integrated or freestanding model. We check the tub, door and wash system before recommending the work. Replacement becomes more attractive when an older G1000 or G2000 needs major tub repairs or an expensive, unavailable main electronic unit. Worn basket wheels or cutlery-tray fittings alone do not justify replacing the machine. If the repair is not worthwhile, we tell you before any work starts.

What a Miele Repair Costs

Prices depend on the G-series model. G1000 and G2000 machines, G6000 wash systems and G7000 AutoDos dispensers need different parts.

Filter blockages, trapped debris, misplaced baskets and PowerDisk seating often need only first-visit call-out and labour. Replacement pumps, switches, heaters, inlet valves and dispenser drives add parts costs.

Repairs carry a 12-month parts-and-labour guarantee. We confirm call-out and identified parts prices at booking, then quote any additional parts after testing

Models We Repair

Older G1000 and G2000 dishwashers use replaceable pumps and door components. G4000 and G5000 drainage arrangements need model-matched pumps and covers. Newer G5000 models also exist, so the full designation matters.

G6000 machines include EcoFlex and QuickPowerWash models with different wash programmes and drying equipment. We check circulation, water heating and fitted drying features when dishes remain wet. Our dishwasher repairs service also covers leaks, basket damage and door faults.

G7000 AutoDos models add a PowerDisk dispenser outlet and drive mechanism. Freestanding and integrated versions need different door and access arrangements. See Miele appliance repairs and Miele washing machine repairs for other Miele services

FAQs

Is it worth repairing a Miele dishwasher?

Usually, when the fault involves a replaceable pump, heater, switch or door component and the tub is sound. Older G1000 and G2000 machines need a closer parts-cost comparison. Basket wheels and cutlery-tray damage are separate repairs, not reasons to scrap it.

What does F11 mean on a Miele dishwasher?

F11 means the dishwasher is not draining correctly. We check the filter, drain pump, non-return valve arrangement and waste connection. Tell us whether water remains above the filter or the pump runs without clearing it when arranging the visit

Why is my Miele dishwasher not drying?

We check wash temperature, rinse-aid settings and the drying equipment fitted to your model. AutoOpen models also need their door-opening function checked. Plastic items retain moisture differently from crockery, so tell us whether everything is wet or only plastic containers

Do you repair integrated Miele dishwashers?

Yes, including semi-integrated models with visible controls and fully integrated machines with controls along the door top. Tell us about the furniture panel and plinth. We check access, door balance and the fault without treating the cabinet door as disposable

Will an independent repair affect my Miele warranty?

Check your Miele warranty or extended-cover terms before arranging work outside its service network. Covered faults should follow that provider’s booking process. Once cover has expired, our repair guarantee applies to the fitted parts and labour for the agreed repair

Do you repair older discontinued Miele models?

Yes, including G1000 and G2000 dishwashers with available replacement components. We check major electronic and tub parts before recommending a repair on a discontinued machine
